Have a question? Check the list below.

I notice there are codes established in the PhaseCodes database. Do I have to use these or can I establish my own?

The codes are there for demonstration purposes only. You can use them as they are, or change them to suit your own billing purpose. The only restriction is that the following convention be used.

  1. Square Feet phase codes must be in the range 100-199
  2. Hourly phase codes must be in the range 200-299
  3. Fixed Fee phase codes must be in the range 300-399
  4. Consultant type codes must be in the range 400-499
  5. Expense type codes must be in the range 900-998 (Code 999 is reserved)

I notice there are codes established in the StaffCodes database. Do I have to use these or can I set my own?

These codes are provided for demonstration purposes only. You may use them as they are or change them to suit your own billing purpose. The only restriction is whether you want to use multiple billing rates. See the program 'Help' file for a discussion on establishing multiple staff code billing rates.

Our company has a logo that we would like to include on each invoice. Is this possible?

Yes! If you provide us with a 64x64 pixel jpg file, we will include it in your system configuration.

My company's computers only use the Internet Explorer browser from Microsoft. Do I have to install another browser?

Yes. Because of limitations in the Internet Explorer browser, archInvoice has been customized to work only with FireFox on the PC and Opera on the Mac.

If I choose the PC version, do I still need to install the FireFox or Opera web browsers?

No. The use of the PC stand-alone version does not require the use of a browser.
